The Marine Biology Club (MBC) at North Collins Central School is advised by Ms Julie Palmer. The Club visits a unique ecosystem each year and has chosen the coral reef for 2013. The Blog background is Anthony's Key Resort in Roatan and will be our home for the week of March 23-30.

It's so nice to see pictures! I can't wait to read about all your adventures from today. The skiing is perfect here, in Killington, Vermont (so they say). It's a balmy 36 degrees, but for skiing that is excellent. So far, no major injuries!

Shannon, please take a lot of pictures. I expect to see lots of sea creatures, and if you come across a starfish on the beach, take his picture and toss him back into the ocean.

This is a really wonderful group of students; it is a pleasure to see them working together as a group and enjoying every minute of their time here. I am grateful that Lisa, Garry & Kathy are here as each bring something different to the group.

Today is THE day - we take a boat ride around the other side of the island to Maya Key. They have a Ruin replica, animal rehab center, and a huge shop! Then back to home base to swim with Dolphins.
It's 6:30 M - time to see if students are ready for the day!

Hey Vern i hope you are soaking up the sun....don't get eaten by a whale. Take a poop ton of pictures and do all kinds o' cray cray stuff. Also you show them how us seasoned riders do it! On the horses and dolphins!!!
