Saturday March 23 - Arrival in Roatan

Excitement abounds as we prepare to depart.
FIRST TIME FLYERS GET THIER WINGS
On the tarmac- And it is warm!!
Greetings Family and Friends!  The Chaperones are writing to you from the lobby of Anthony's Key Resort.  We are all very tired but still keyed up talking and journaling about our first day.  Time here is two hours earlier so by 2:00 pm local time we had already traveled all day, checked in to our rooms, had lunch and were heading to the beach to snorkel around the Key.  Everyone is comfortable in the water and ready to head out to the reef tomorrow morning!  Let us know you are keeping up with our adventures!  And thank you for so many comments already!
Buddy pairs will be taking turns each night this week creating the blogs so stay tuned!
Love Miss Palmer, Mrs. Brosnick, Mr. & Mrs. Dole

  2. It's so nice to see pictures! I can't wait to read about all your adventures from today. The skiing is perfect here, in Killington, Vermont (so they say). It's a balmy 36 degrees, but for skiing that is excellent. So far, no major injuries!

I hope the first time flyers enjoyed their first flight.

Shannon, please take a lot of pictures. I expect to see lots of sea creatures, and if you come across a starfish on the beach, take his picture and toss him back into the ocean.

    Love,
    Mom/Mrs. Finkley :)

    1. Hi Joni! Yes, we are having a fabulous adventure. This is a really wonderful group of students; it is a pleasure to see them working together as a group and enjoying every minute of their time here. I am grateful that Lisa, Garry & Kathy are here as each bring something different to the group.
Please call Dad & ask Lolah if he has been able to watch the blog. Jennifer and the twins too.
Today is THE day - we take a boat ride around the other side of the island to Maya Key. They have a Ruin replica, animal rehab center, and a huge shop! Then back to home base to swim with Dolphins.
It's 6:30 M - time to see if students are ready for the day!
      Love, Julie
